January's Everyday Make Up

It's been a while since I've done a proper beauty post and what better way to begin than an updated everday make up? My make up routine always depends on how much time I have to get ready and what I will be be doing that day. This look is what I tend to opt for on a day to day basis, whether I'm staying in and doing work, having a casual cinema/lunch date or going to work and uni.

I start off by moisturising with the Nivea day cream for dry and sensitive skin, followed by the Rimmel Baby Skin Primer. This leaves with a smooth and hydrated base. Then I apply the L'Oreal Infallible foundation in the shade porcelain which is great match for us pale kids. I did use the matte version of the foundation for a while but I have started to get dry skin because of the colder weather so switched back to this version. Next I reach for the Collection pressed powder - an old favoruite of mine - to keep it all in place. This is also in the lightest shade.

For my eyes I smooth on the shade 'fiery' from the MUA Undress Me Too Pallette. It's a shimmery copper colour and it is one of my all time favourite shades. Next I add a flick of L'Oreal Superliner and then mega volume mascara (similar) on my lashes. I avoid using this mascara on my bottom lashes as it makes me look too much like a doll, which is not a look I am going for. Finally I colour my lips with a Maybelline lipstick in the shade Velvet Beige.

Corduroy Dreams

Primark Jumper & Skirt // H&M Boots

Look at me doing blogging things. Here's a skirt I picked up at the end of last year before my trip to Denmark. I own a few (too many) button down skirts but they are so easy to wear and they add a bit more detail to a what would otherwise be a fairly simple outfit. This one was from Primark and was a measly £10. I paired it with a simple jumper and my favourite boots which rarely ever leave my feet.
