3 Simple Ways to Instantly Improve The Look of Your Blog

Hey guys! As you very well know, I don't usually do posts like this as I'm not exactly in the position to be giving blog advice. However, I have recently learned some new tips that instantly improved the way my blog looks and I wish someone had told me earlier.

1. Have a theme. If you're like me and you have chosen to simply edit bloggers simple themes to create your blog's look, then it's easy to just pick loads of different colours and fonts because it's hard to just choose one, right? Try and have uniformity and stick with the same fonts, colour scheme and styles. This will make your blog look neater and more appealing.
2. Get rid of the blogger navigation bar. I didn't even notice this until last week but those who use blogger will have a blogger bar at the top of their page which allows you to search for other blogs and has the blogger logo etc. This makes your blog look less like a website and might make people not take your blog seriously. I might be the last person to realise that there is an option to turn it off. Simply go on layout, click on nav bar and select 'turn off'.
3. Change your favicon. Y'know when you open a tab and there's a little logo next to the page title on the tab? Well I've spent the last 3 years or so with the annoying orange blogger symbol and I've seen a lot of blogs with it too. Little did I know you can easily change this. Simply conjure up a square image that you want to appear, head to the layout page, click on favicon and upload your own! Note: If this doesn't work immediately, follow this tutorial here to help you get it up and working!

Do you have any tips for how to keep your blog looking smart?
